We have been SUPER busy and I have been slack with my blog. The boys are doing great they are growing way to fast! Parker is into everything and wants to do exactly what Peyton is doing, which sometimes is not a good idea! We had a great Thanksgiving and are getting ready for Christmas! $100 Portrait Project

I took the boys this weekend to SHE Weekend and participated in the $100 Portrait Project that Colin Smith does. It is for such a good cause, we never know when we will need our local Children's Hospital! Colin did a great job even though my boys are not into having there picture taken at all, and Parker would not even think about cracking a smile he got some really good shots! I just think they are just ADORABLE!

Little Man Starts 4K

Peyton's first day of 4K was today he was excited to see his friends but he wanted to go back to his 3K teacher. She was wonderful and I am sure this year will be the same. I cannot believe he is getting so grown, it just breaks my heart. He asked me this morning why I could not stay with him at school all day and I told him I had to go to work and he said but I love you, and I want you Mama. He is the sweetest thing, I know he will do great in 4K and I cannot wait to see the progress he makes this year.

I cannot believe that my baby boy is one, I am a little late posting but a lot has been going on. Parker is absolutely the sweetest baby ever, he is getting a mind of his own these days. I just cannot believe that he is already 1, we just love this sweet thing so much!

We had a good vacation at the beach. Peyton LOVES the beach he would stay out there until he fell out! Parker liked it too, but he did not like to stay quite long as Peyton. We did a lot of fun things I think Peyton's favorite was Nascar Speed Park where he could drive to go carts, he did really well. Here are some pictures from the week.

The last couple of weekends have been very busy. Last weekend we headed to Paris Island to see my cousin graduate from Boot Camp. It was really nice we are so proud of Josh and the sacrifices he is making, he is one adorable Marine. On Saturday I had a big party for him at my house we had a good time and everyone was excited to see him. This weekend we had, last tball game, Birthday parties and then we went swimming at Tara's. Parker got in the pool for the first time. Peyton was a little skeptical at first because it had been a while but he soon warmed up to it. Here are some pictures:

I cannot believe it but Peyton graduated 3K last week, I just do not know where the time goes! He has made so much progress this year it amazes me everything he has learned. His vocabulary is unbelievable, sometimes when he says things I think to myself how does he know this. It just seems like yesterday I was dropping him off at his first day of school and worried to death about how he was going to do and now I am just amazed at how he adjusted and what he learned. Of course I would like to take the credit but I have to give it to All Saints' it is such a wonderful place and is teacher was wonderful.. I have to say the last day was a little emotional because I hate that he is not going to have her anymore, she is such a wonderful person and she was so good to Peyton he just adores her. I know he will miss her! Mrs. Martin made each parent a DVD of pictures and videos of the children throughout the year which is something that I will always treasure. She showed it at the end of the year party and I was in tears. She also gave us a scrapbook of something that the kids did each month with there hand prints or footprints. She really invested a great deal of time in making sure that we had memories from their first year of school. Along with the end of the year party they had a little ceremony, they sang the cutest songs about going to 4K! It was such a fun time! Here are some pictures!!

We have been quite busy lately with Tee Ball, birthday parties, school functions and everything else. Both boys are doing great I cannot believe Parker is 10 months old, time is just flying by. He is the sweetest child. Peyton is doing great I went for his parent teacher conference the other day and he got ab AWSOME report. He scored way above average on everything. Which makes mommy and daddy proud. Peyton may be growing up but he is still has so much love in his heart. Just last night I was laying beside him in the bed and he looked over at me kissed me right in the mouth and and said "I love you mommy you are my favorite person". He just melts my heart. We have been enjoying the warm weather Peyton has started T-ball and they are adorable! Parker is MOBILE trying to walk and into everything. I absolutely loves these two boys so much it hurts. They are so sweet. Parker has the best personality you will see in some of the pictures his camera face it is adorable. It is hard to believe that in a few months he will be a year old, time just flies by. My house is wild and crazy and I have two active little boys but I can honestly say it can't get better they are such a blessing!

Parker 8 Months

My baby will be a year old before I know it and I cannot believe it! Parker is ACTIVE! I am a little worried I think he is ready to walk, but I am not sure if Mama is ready! He is the best natured child, full of smiles and has a smile that will light up the room! I just cannot believe how fast the time has gone by! He is such a blessing! Yesterday him and Peyton sat on the floor in the play room and just played and played together, I LOVE watching them together it just melts my heart. I cannot believe that Peyton is four . Where does the time go. He has brought the most joy to our lives the past four years I cannot even hardly remember life without him! We celebrated last Saturday with a Pirate Party, the weather was great and the children had a blast. We bought Peyton an inflatable jump castle for his birthday the children loved it. The children looked for treasures and the biggest hit of course was the Pony! Peyton loves his pony and wanted all his friends to ride it and the kids had a ball. Here are some pictures.

Last night Peyton was talking to me in the living room and he ran to get his book bag and told me that he had me a valentines present in his bag. It was all wrapped up and he said this is for you and daddy I made it at school for you! These were the next words " I only want to give it to you Mommy because you are my very special Valentine, you are my only valentine so it is your present" I opened the present and it was the cutest little flower pot filled with Hershey's Hugs and Kisses. Peyton then said would you like to share your valentine candy. Even though Peyton is so strong willed and does not listen like he should, he has the sweetest heart and he stole my heart once again last night! I just Love him so much!

Parker 6 Months

Where has the time gone, I cannot believe my little Parker is 6 Months old. We are so in love with this little one!

How can we help but be look at that sweet face. He is such a joy, he is the happiest baby, he laughs all the time. He absolutely loves Peyton, I cannot imagine what is going to be like when he becomes mobile and can keep up with him. I am so blessed to have these sweet boys to love! Parker has the cutest expressions I just love this age. I wish I could just stop right here becasue he is growing just too fast! He is sitting up well and when we put him on yhe floor he is scooting and rolling, you will put him down and go back and he will be on the other side of the room. Here are the many faces of Parker! Polar Express

This weekend we headed to the mountains with two other couples to take the kids to the the Polar Express. I was a little concerned about the trip but both boys did great there and back. We stayed in a cabin and the view was wonderful. Tara planned the entire trip and did a great job, it is nice to have a friend to make all the plans. It was wild with all the kids, but it was worth it. The children loved the train ride they were so precious in PJ's. Peyton is telling everyone that he has been to the North Pole and to Santa's house, he loved it. I cannot wait until next year!

Peyton had his Thanksgiving Feast at school, the kids had so much fun, and I had a lot of fun there watching. First the 3K class sang in chapel, they were so cute, and then it was time for the feast. Each student had Indian names Peyton was "Running Bear" imagine that. Here are some pictures.

Pumpkin Patch

A few Sundays ago a group of Moms and kiddos loaded up to go to the Pumpkin Patch. Peyton had a ball. We rode with Jackson and Aunt Kelli and Peyton and Jackson absolutely adore each other they were so excited they were 90 miles and hour the entire way there. We rode two different hay rides one with Horses and one with a tractor, and then we found the perfect pumpkin. We had so much fun I think the moms had as much fun as the kids. Parker 3 Months

I cannot believe Parker is 3 months, I do not know where the time has gone. He is so sweet, he is the HAPPIEST baby I have ever seen. He wakes up happy in the morning even after going 9-10 hours without a bottle he is smiling. He loves to watch Peyton he watches every move he makes and when Peyton talks to him he is just all over himself, I love watching them together, that is the best thing about having two. Parker has already brought so much joy to us, we love him so much and cannot imagine what we did before we had him. I am so blessed to have such sweet precious little boys, it does not get any better than this! Here are some pictures...

Blessing of the Animals

A few weeks ago Peyton had blessing of the animals at school to raise money for the Humanes Society, we did not take Cesar he is WAY to big, but Peyton still had a ball. It was so cute seeing him and his little classmates interact, and I cannot believe how well they listen to the teacher, it amazes me what she can do with the kids. Here are some Pictures.

Peyton has to be at the sweetest age ever! Tonight when I was getting him ready for bed he looked at me and said "I miss you Mama" I told him mommy is right here and he said "I miss you when I am at school, I love being with you. " Fighting back tears I said well you will not be at school long and mommy will pick you up. The thought crossed my mind not to even take him to school he is so darn sweet! It is amazing how one little person can bring so much joy and love!

I have to admit that I have blessed with a wonderful baby, Peyton was a great baby so was assured that Parker was going to give me a run, wrong he is wonderful. He is sleeping pretty much through the night. He is so SWEET, when he wakes up in the morning I look over him in his bassinet and say good morning and as soon as he sees me he has a big smile on his face, it just melts my hear. What Peyton's Been Up to

Peyton absolutely loves school he is doing such a good job and is learning so much I can already tell. Here are a few pictures of what Peyton's been up to lately.

Last night he wanted Jello, and wanted to eat it in the living room so that he could watch Noggin and I told him no that he had to sit in one of the chairs in the kitchen and eat it. I went on doing something else and turned around and this was his solution.

He moved the kitchen chair to the edge of the living room so he could eat his Jello and watch Noggin. when I asked him he said " you told me to sit in a kitchen chair"

Peyton, Parker and I took a short trip to the beach to stay with Kelli, Jackson, and Logan a few weeks ago. We had a really good time even though it rained the boys had fun. When Jackson and Peyton are together they always have fun, I love to see them together they just love each other so much and get along so well, I know they will be life long friends and Logan and Parker will follow right behind them! I cannot believe that my sweet boy started 3k last week it is just hard to believe, how time has flown by. He has done such a good job with the transition so far, he absolutely loves his teacher she is so wonderful I love her too. She is such a nurturing person. I cannot say enough good things about his school it is wonderful, they had so many activities and parties leading up to the first day of school that he was already very comfortable. We have not mastered dropping off in the car line Peyton still wants me to walk him to class so he can give me a "kiss and a big hug bye"which is fine by me I am not really ready for the car line either. We will work on it and do it when Peyton and I are both ready. Anyway the first week of school has gone really well and Peyton is talking about all of his new friends that I am sure he will be friends with for a long time. I have also had the opportunity to meet most of the mothers, it is nice to talk with them and spend time with them to see how their kids are transitioning also. All I can say is that I love being home with my boys! Peyton is out of summer camp and will start school on the 20th, so I am loving being home with both of them. Peyton still continues to do great with Parker, he loves him so much and I love watching him with Parker. Parker is doing great he is a really good baby. WE have been venturing out a lot, we've been to supper club, church the last two Sundays, and a lot of different other places. Peyton talked his daddy into buying him some roller skates, wow they are DANGEROUS because he cannot skate at all but thinks he can. Anyway all is good here, here are some pics from the last few weeks. I cannot manage to get a good picture of the two boys together.

I have been scared to say but I have been blessed with a wonderful baby, he only gets up once in the night and he is not even two weeks old. I am keeping my fingers crossed that he will stay this way, Peyton was a great baby he was sleeping through the night when he was three or four weeks old and I can count on one hand how many times he has got up in the middle of the night since then and he is three years old. I was convinced that Parker was not going to be a good baby but so far I am wrong.

The last week and a half has been busy, but it has been great, I just cannot believe that I have these two perfect beautiful boys. Peyton absolutely loves Parker he will be playing and he will just stop and kiss Parker and say "I wuv you Parker" Last night I was feeding Parker and he came over and looked at me and said "I like Parker, he is precious" I just love to see them together, and cannot wait to watch them grow up together. Growing up I always pictured myself with prissy little girl (imagine that) and never really imagined having a boy, but I absolutely love having boys and would not care if I had more, it does not get any better than this!

Also, I wanted to thank everyone that brought dinner in the last week, I have such great friends. All of the food was delicious and the company was great too.

He is here and he is absolutely perfect! Parker James was born Friday the 18th he weighed 7lbs 12 oz and was 20 3/4 inches long. Labor was a breeze this time around. Peyton is doing great, he loves his baby brother. I am so blessed to have two perfect precious little boys God is good! I have worried for 9 months if how I could love another like I love Peyton, when Parker was born and I saw his sweet little face it was instant I am so in love with both of my boys, life cannot get much better than this! See pictures I will post more details later just got to get a routine and more time.

July 4th Weekend

We had a fun July Fourth weekend, we did not really go anywhere because we are still awaiting Parker's arrival. We spent Friday at home and went to a cookout that afternoon and then came back to the house and shot fireworks. Peyton loved the fireworks so much that when we were done we had to promise to some more on Saturday night. Saturday night Tara and Jayce came to visit and spent the night with us since Jason was out of town. The boys had a blast we cooked out and let them play. We are still in the process of getting out yard complete since we moved in the house. The yard is so big it is a working process, we had dirt dumped in the very back yard and Peyton and Jayce had them a ball on the dirt piles, they were so dirty we had to go straight to the bath. The joys of little boys. Anyway it was fun and on Sunday morning Jayce did not want to leave and Peyton did not want him to go. We went on a picnic Sunday for lunch at the park and it was Nani's birthday, it was hot but Peyton had a really good time and after lunch we went to Jayce's to swim, I was glad to get in the pool myself we spent the afternoon their. On a side note Tara tried to kill Peyton she decided to put soap and water on Jayce's slide and then put a float at the end like a slip and slide. Peyton came down so fast and turning every way I thought he was going to bust his head wide open but he loved it, I was a nervous wreck! By the time we left Peyton was worn completely out and went to sleep on the way home. We had a great weekend, see pictures.

Parker Will Be Here Soon

I cannot believe that it in just a week or two Parker will be here. I will probably be induced the week of the eighth. This pregnancy has absolutely flown by, which I am sure that having Peyton to keep me occupied has contributed to that. Although, the last few weeks seem to be creeping by, I find myself content and just wanting to hang on to these next few weeks as just us where everything we do revolves around Peyton. I really cannot wait to meet Parker and see his sweet face, I already love him so much, but my one main fear is that Peyton is going to feel left out. I feel guilty taking attention away from him. I know that God is going to allow my heart to grow and love both of these boys equally, but it has been Peyton only for the past 3 years. I know that Peyton and Parker will be the best of friends, but at the same time I worry about how Peyton is going to feel while we are in the hospital, what is he going to think when he sees me with Parker for the first time,how is he going to feel when I get home and cannot do for him until I heal. There are so many things running through my head, I just want to be the best mom that I can to both Peyton and Parker. As for now before Parker arrives Peyton is my number one focus. I want him to know that he is loved more than he will ever know, and that eventhough there are many changes about to happen in our family one thing will always be the same he is everything to Eric and I and will always be our first little boy!

Wow! Peyton keeps us on the move I cannot imagine what is going to be like when Parker start getting involved in activities! I cannot complain though I love it. I have lots of pictures to post from lots of events so I am just doing one post for all. We spent memorial day with the Newton's at their pool. Peyton absolutely loves the water, Aunt Tara is a lot more brave and lets Peyton do more than Mommy so he enjoys swimming with her. Peyton is still playing t ball his last game is tonight Peyton has really enjoyed it and gets better and better, I kind of hate to see it end. A couple of Fridays ago I spent the day with Peyton at his school, it was his last day and they had water day and a picnic. We had a lot of fun it is so cute to see him interact with all of his friends. Peyton started summer camp at All saints that is where he will be going to 3K in the fall, I absolutely love it and Peyton does too, it is wonderful. On top of all that I was the director over bible school this year and that was this week, everything went great but we are glad it is over. And we have added a new precious gift to the bunch. Kelli called me Sunday night when I got home from bible school and she was in labor a little early, so I went to get Jackson and he spent the night with us. Needless to say Sunday night was a late night because Jackson and Peyton were ecstatic to be able to stay together. Anyway Logan was born early Monday morning and he is absolutely precious. Jackson was exited when I told him about his little brother. Kelli and the baby are doing great I will post some pictures when I get some this weekend. In the mist of all that has been going on we are preparing for Baby Parker we cannot wait to see his sweet little face. Being a mommy is a busy job but I absolutely love it and would not have it any other way! Here are pictures!

Loving Two

I walk along holding your 3-year-old hand, basking in the glow of our magical relationship.

Suddenly I feel a kick from within, as if to remind me that our time alone is limited. And I wonder: how could I ever love another child as I love you?

Then he is born, and I watch you.

I watch the pain you feel at having to share me as you’ve never shared me before.

I hear you telling me in your own way, “Please love only me”.

And I hear myself telling you in mine, “I can’t”, knowing, in fact, that I never can again.

You cry. I cry with you.

I almost see our new baby as an intruder on the precious relationship we once shared.

A relationship we can never quite have again.But then, barely noticing, I find myself attached to that new being, and feeling almost guilty.

I’m afraid to let you see me enjoying him—as though I am betraying you.

But then I notice your resentment change, first to curiosity, then to protectiveness, finally to genuine affection.

I can hardly believe that I only have about 10 weeks to go and Parker will be here. This pregnancy has flown by. I am excited and scared at the same time. Peyton has become quite a mama's boy lately and does not want daddy to do anything he wants me to do everything which is fine, and I really enjoy it. I am just afraid of how he is going to feel when Parker gets here and he has to share me with someone else. I just fear that he is going to be sad and that breaks my heart. I know that he is going to love Parker and be a great big brother, but he has been our world for the last three years and that is all about to change. I know it is going to be an adjustment for him and for all of us and I am sure we will all transition well. My main concern is that Peyton knows that he is one loved little boy an no one will ever take his place and I will do everything in my power to show him. It just seems like with Peyton I could not wait for him to get here but with Parker I am ready to see him and love on him, but at the same time I want to just have time for just Peyton.

I cannot believe that my baby is old enough for T-Ball, but he had his first practice last night. We took him a few weeks ago and got his bat , glove, cleats and we have been practicing at home, he loves it. He is playing at the YMCA and it is 3 and 4 year olds, Eric is helping coach. The kids are absolutely precious but they are clueless, last night was so much fun and I look forward to all the practices and games, I know it is going to be so much fun. Peyton did a really good job last night, we were so proud of him.

Peyton, and I were watching America Idol last night and it was the Idol Gives Back Special. I can hardly watch it, it is so sad it just is so hard to believe the things that children are born into. We are so so fortunate! Anyway, these 4 little boys were on there and they were in Africa and had no mother, father, all they had was each other. Peyton noticed that they were crying and said " Mommy why are those little boys so sad" I explained to him that they did not have a Mommy or Daddy to take care of them and all they had was each other. I told Peyton that he has so many people that love and care for him and these little boys do not. He looked at me and I could tell he was thinking hard, and he said "Jesus Loves them little boys." He went on to say that "Jesus watches them and takes care of them." My heart absolutely melted, I am so lucky I have the sweetest child ever. I am so proud of him and love him so much!

Tara and I decided to take Jayce and Peyton to their first movie Monday afternoon, we were a little afraid as to how they would act. They did really well they really enjoyed the popcorn and Jayce really enjoyed the elephant. Peyton said "That is a big TB, where is the DBD player." I think they enjoyed it and I was really elated that they behaved so well, I am sure this is one of many to come.

We celebrated Easter all weekend on Saturday Peyton's Friend Weatherly hosted a Easter egg hunt at her house, we all had a great time. On Sunday we started out at sunrise service at 7:00am and then came back to find that the Easter bunny had visited out house, Peyton got a real basketball goad and a basket full of goodies. Then we headed back to church for regular service and then to Nanie's for lunch, it was a good day.

3 Years Old

I cannot believe that my precious baby is three years old. These have been the best three years ever, we cannot imagine life without this sweet little boy! It feels like just yesterday he was a sweet little baby in my arms. Peyton has the best personality he is the most loving and sweetest thing I have ever seen. He does not forget anything and will can carry on a conversation as if he were an adult. I could just sit for hours and listen to him tell me stories about things he has done and things that he wants to do. His teachers at school say that he loves to tell stories and that he loves to make all the other kids laugh. He keeps us in hysterics laughing most of the time, we never know what he is going to say or when he is going to say and we love that about him. He has matured so much in the last year, he will play for hours with toys and he loves to play pretend. I love to watch him when he is pretending to do something. I wish that I could just freeze time with him right now because he is just an absolute joy to be around. I am so proud of him and love him so much! I cannot wait to see what the next year brings with Peyton, and I cannot wait to see how he will transition into becoming a big brother to Parker.

The Circus

A group of couples got together and took the kiddos to the circus Saturday night. We all had so much fun, I know Eric and I did. I cannot remember the last time I have been to the circus. Peyton was so excited all day about the circus, I should have waited to tell him because he asked every 5 minutes when we were going. The highlight for Peyton was the tigers in the cages, he loved them. Peyton even got to meet another little boy named Peyton, he is 4 and they got along really well. An of course two of his best buds Jackson and Jayce were there so he had a ball. Peyton did not want to leave, it was like war trying to get him out of there.

What Could be Better Than Another Little Boy To Love

This morning we went for our Gender ultrasound and found out that we are going be having another little boy in July. We are very excited and feel so fortunate to have another little boy to love. I was almost 100% that it was a boy the entire time, and I did not have a preference my only wish is for a healthy happy baby. I am so excited for Peyton to have a brother to grow up with, I know they will be so close. In a few years I am sure Eric and my time will be completley consumed with athletic events for these two boys and we can hardly wait. I know that we are in for an adventure. I just cannot wait until July when I can actually see his little face and give him a kiss!

Peyton's New Favorite Thing

We had a family reunion this weekend and Peyton feel in love with Colin a cousin of his. Colin is 5 and he brought his scooter to the reunion and Peyton was trying to do everything Colin did. He even learned to ride Colin's scooter. He keep looking at me saying "you going to by me one of these mommy" I told him that we would get him one later. When it was time to go Peyton stuck his bottom lip out and was so pitiful he wanted a scooter like Colin's. His Aunt Vic Vic and Uncle Joe could not stand the look on his face so Uncle Joe told him that he would buy him one. On the way home I told Peyton that Aunt Vic Vic and Uncle Joe were coming by the house because they wanted to see what else we had done to the house and he told me that Uncle Joe was gone to buy him a scooter. I told him that he would have to wait it was late, already 7:00pm he would have to get it later, Peyton said "Uncle Joe told me he was." Well anyway an hour later Aunt Vic Vic and Uncle Joe show up with the scooter, I cannot believe they went and got one that night. Anyway you should have seen the look on Peyton's face, he was so excited, and he told me "I told you him was going to buy me one" All I can say is ROTTEN! He was so precious riding the scooter, he loves it and he really does well on it. Here are some pictures of him on the scooter and from the weekend. Christmas

Wow! I have to say this Christmas was wonderful the best yet. Peyton brings so much joy and love to our entire family, I just cannot even remember life before him. Eric and I are so blessed to have this sweet little person in our lives, we just love him more everyday. I cannot imagine how I will love another the way I love him, but everyone says I will. That is my biggest fear about this other little one that will join our family, I just cannot imagine how it will be possible to love it as much, Peyton is my heart. I am sure this next one will fill our lives with more love than we can imagine, just like Peyton has! Anyway, Peyton was the sweetest thing this Christmas he understood things so much better, when he woke up Christmas morning the look on his face was priceless, his comment was "look what all Santa bought for me" he was so appreciative and concerned about everyone else's gifts. He is just the sweetest thing.

We had a busy week on Sunday Peyton was Joseph in the preschool Christmas play, I was so afraid of how he would do because he wanted to hold baby Jesus and so did Mary, but he did wonderful. It was so sweet to see him up there, they sang happy birthday to Jesus! We spent the rest of the week visiting with family, and allowing everyone to spoil Peyton rotten it is unreal the toys this child received. Here are some pictures, I cannot even put into words the joy Peyton gave us this Christmas his personality is just exploding and I am sure next year will be even better.

We had our annual Christmas party with our closest Friends this weekend. We always have a great time but this year was even better, I think it was because the kids were at such a fun age, and Santa paid us a visit. I have to say this is something that I look forward to every year at Christmas I just love being with everyone and seeing all the children interact. I think we had 9 children and we will have 5 more that we know of next year! Kelli's house was just perfect for the event, we missed little Jackson he was sick, but he came near the end and this made Peyton's night. Since Peyton has been in school, I always try to take him somewhere after school as a reward if he is a good boy and does not cry. I will do anything if he does not cry when I leave him. Last week one day I picked him up from school and I said Peyton what do you want to do now since you have been such a big boy today, this is what he said, I almost feel out! "I want to go to Starbucks and get Ice Cokee" He gets this from Mommy she loves Starbucks, even though he probably should not have this I took him anyway and got him a decaf white mocha on ice. He drank every bit if it and then wanted mine! I think a two year old asking for Starbucks is a little high maintenance.

Pumkin Patch

Peyton and I went Saturday to McBee to visit the pumpkin patch with Tara, Jayce, DeAnn, Weatherly, Kelli and Jackson. We had so much fun, you never know what is going to happen when you pack four children under the age of two in a car and take a trip, but we are all so proud of the children they were so well behaved. The kiddos absolutely loved it, we were able to take a horse drawn carriage to the pumpkin patch and then pick a pumpkin of our choice. We ended the afternoon with a meal at Myami's and the children were so well behaved, I cannot wait for our next outing. See Pictures!

I have not posted about Peyton not having a Paci because I did not want to brag on how well he was doing until I knew for sure the paci was gone. Friday a week ago Peyton was outside and had his paci in his mouth and must have dropped and his puppy that we just got took off running with his paci. I heard Peyton screaming my paci, my paci, so I got up and he was chasing the PY (this is what Peyton named the puppy) saying give me my paci it was pitiful but it was also pretty funny. He was so devastated, I decided then this may be a good way to go ahead and get rid of the paci, so I went in the House and got all of his pacis and put them where he could not get them. I explained to him that PY was a baby and needed his paci. He has asked for it several times and it is a little harder to get him to sleep but all in all it has not been to bad. This weekend he told said "We need to go target to buy me paci" he is too smart. Poor Peyton has lost his paci and had to start school in the last two weeks.

A Lot Going on

It has been a long time since I last posted. I had to have emergency gallbladder surgery on the 20th. I am doing much better now, it all happened so fast, I will be able to go back to work on Monday. With that being said in the mist of all of this I had to fire Peyton's Nanny after 2 1/2 years. To make a long story short I caught her steeling my pain medication I had from surgery. The lord just seems to work things out, i would have never known had i not been home and Peyton could have been in danger. I do not think this has been going on with her for long, I have beet myself up over the fact of leaving Peyton with her and she is on Pain Medication but we are in and out the house so much I do not think she has been, i am not sure what got into her. She was so dependable, Peyton adored her, I just do not get it! We found this out on Monday I immediately thought what am I going to do with Peyton, he has never stayed with anyone. I was not prepared for this I had it all planned out that Peyton would stay with her until next fall and then go to All Saints for 3k. I immediately thought about A Step Ahead Day School, I had heard so many great things about it. Jackson is their and Ava and both Kelli and Paige say they love it. I called them on Monday afternoon knowing that it would be forever before I could get him in and the director said they had a spot for 2k come available on Friday if I wanted to come look around. I went Monday afternoon and toured the facility, I was very impressed with it and the curriculum that they offer. If it pleased me they really have their stuff together. I went ahead and enrolled him and he will start Monday. I hope that I can survive, Peyton will probably be better off than me. We have been taking him a couple of hours everyday this week and he did not do well Tuesday or Wednesday, but today he did great. It is going to be an adjustment for him and myself but I keep telling myself that everything feel into place so it must be the lord's plan. When I take him in that room, I look at how lost he looks and I feel like someone is ripping my heart out of my chest. I just want to go get him and go home, but it is what is best for him, he needs to be around other children and get used to things before he starts school next year. I guess sometimes what is best for your child is not always what YOU want, that is one thing that makes being a parent such a tough job. Just be thinking about us next week I am not sure I have another tear left to shed, we will see on Monday!

Peyton was all dressed up for the first game of the season. Eric left early yesterday to go to the game and when the game started I kept telling Peyton that we needed to look for Daddy. He kept running to the TV an saying "Daddy's playing Football, Daddy's got a hat"he thought that Eric was one of the players, it was too cute. Peyton enjoyed watching the game and I enjoyed it too, it was a great start to the season. GO TIGERS!!!!

My Mama just called she keeps Peyton for me, and they went to the grocery store this morning and she came home and just got Peyton down for a nap and went to get something out of her pocketbook and found a big pack of Kraft Cheese Slices that someone put in her purse. I wonder who that was, the boy loves cheese, but I did not know he loved it that much. I cannot believe my child is already a thief, I am going to have to talk to him about this. I have just recently signed a contract and I am now a Independent Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. Most of you know how much I love giving facials and you also know how much I loved Merle Norman. I really really love the Mary Kay products especially the skin care it is wonderful. I am really doing it because it is something that I enjoy doing. Fun Day Go

Florence has a wonderful new place to go especially when it is over a 100 degrees outside, Fun Day Go! Peyton and I met DeAnn, Weatherly, Nolan (DeAnn's nephew), Tara, and Jayce yesterday, we had a blast. Peyton had no fear he climbed up and went down the biggest slide by himself. He made a new friend Nolan he talked about him all last night. By the time that we left he was drenched in sweat and wore out, but he almost had a meltdown he did not want to leave. I was really impressed at how safe and organized it was, they had staff members at each location to help the children out. I think the kids and the Mommy's really enjoyed it, I highly recommend going, I will definitely be going back quite often. See pictures I left my good camera so I had to use my old one

I normally carry a camera everywhere I go, but Saturday I went looking at lighting for the new house. Peyton was doing very well he was walking around looking at everything and all of sudden he was missing and I turned around and he was sitting on a toilet in the showroom pretending to go potty. I went to my car to see if I had my camera and I did not, but it was hilarious everyone in the store was laughing.
Also at Church Sunday he went up front to the children's sermon and he usually sits up there very well, but this Sunday he did not. He got up while the preacher was talking and walked to the alter table and decided that he was going to try and take his money that he had put in church back from the offering plate.
Wow, you never know what this little boy will do!

Play Date at Weatherly's

We had a play date at Weatherly's today, Peyton was able to see some of his best buddies, Jayce, Taylor, and Weatherly. I feel so fortunate to have such great friends to share motherhood with. It is always and adventure when we get the kids together, I just love watching them and knowing that they are going to grow up to be such great friends. Thanks DeAnn for having play group at your house, we had a good time.

Saturday we went to a Pool party at Aunt Ta Ta's and Jayce's house, we had so much fun. It is always fun spending time with other mommies and watching the kids interact. Peyton has become quite a little fish lately he loves the water and has no fear, which is a little scary for me. Anyway we had a blast and it was great to see Hope and sweet Claudia. Thanks for having us Tara and Jayce.

Crazy Summer

It has been a crazy summer. We started building a house and put our house on the market thinking that it would take at least a few months to sale and it only took 1 week. With our new house a few months from being complete we had 30 days to be out of our other house so we have moved in with my parents. In the process of packing and getting everything out of the house we manged to spend a weeks at the beach with my parents and the Newton's, it was nice to get away, Jayce and Peyton had a blast. As soon as we got back it was back to work we had a week to be out of the house. Needless to say it has been crazy!

Finally A Blogger

I have enjoyed reading other peoples blog and keeping up with their growing families. I kept saying I wanted to create one for my family and never have so I have finally decided to create one. Anyway the reason for the blog is to keep track of our growing little boy. Peyton joined our family March 8, 2005 which of course was the best day of our life. It is hard to believe that he is almost 2 1/2, it seems like yesterday he was just a infant. Just look how fast he has grown!!!!!!
